When it comes to the delight of Christmas, I'm afraid I'm more of a Bah-Humbug kind of guy. Toni always wants lights on the roof, and I can only think that I'd need to buy a HUGE ladder, I wouldn't even be able to stand the ladder up by myself, and what if I fall-would THAT add to your Christmas joy???
ReplyDeleteBut I'm trying to lighten up, and I have to admit the twinkling lights (mostly on the neighbors' houses) do add a lot to the season. One of our neighbors always does Christmas big-people drive by just to see his display. It's not quite Big Jim, but it is overdone - and quite festive.
I'm not sure I'm ready to channel my inner Griswold, but I am beginning to enjoy a little excess!
